The Bio

I am an opera singer that started my career  at the age of 21. I was a winner of the Opera Company of Philadelphia/Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition and performed Marcello in La Boheme on April 21, 1986 in Philadelphia. I then toured the world with Luciano for about 2 years performing La Boheme, first in Modena Italy as Marcello, then switching to Schaunard for subsequent performances in Genoa, Beijing, Berlin, and Buenos Aires. I was blessed to learn so many great things from that man at such an early age. It was only 3 years before that, that I cut class at my alma mater DePaul University and stood inline for 7 hrs to get his autograph on a record album. Still a bit sureal for a kid from a suburban Chicago farming community
that decided to sing because it was fun and I could do it. And you know what, it's still fun!  Sure there is more to the story, like singing at the MET in many different capacities since 1998, working regionally in places like San Diego, Chicago, and Vancouver, but that is all listed on my resume that you can see here.
